Bryn is a filmmaker, humanitarian and co-founder of RYOT, the first news website to link every story to an action. He was named both an "American of the Year" by Esquire and a "Hollywood Maverick" by Details Magazine for his work as a storyteller in disaster and crisis zones. Following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Bryn was appointed the Country Director for Artists for Peace and Justice where he helped build the Academy For Peace And Justice secondary school in Port-au-Prince, which now educates over 1,400 students per year. Bryn grew up in Los Angeles, New York City and Zimbabwe. He has served in the Peace Corps in West Africa and his travels have taken him to some of the most remote locations in the world. Bryn is also an award-winning filmmaker whose documentaries have appeared in over 40 international film festivals.
