(MISSISSAUGA, ON) – February 16, 2016 – Jaguar Land Rover Canada today received the ALG Canadian Residual Value Award for outstanding residual value for the third consecutive year for Best Overall Luxury Brand. The Range Rover Sport also won its third consecutive award for Best Premium Midsize Utility with 2nd row seating. The ALG Canadian Residual Value Awards highlight brands and vehicles that are forecast to retain the highest percentage of their MSRP after a three-year period.
“We are thrilled to be receiving these awards on behalf of the Land Rover brand and for the Range Rover Sport SUV,” said Jaguar Land Rover Canada President, Wolfgang Hoffmann. “Being awarded the ALG award in 2015, 2016 and 2017 for the Land Rover brand is quite an honour and is something our retailers and staff can be proud of. This rewards the commitment to quality and innovation which the Land Rover brand exemplifies. The Range Rover Sport, winning for the third straight year, is a versatile and capable SUV that has long resonated with Canadians, taking drivers above and beyond in luxury.”
ALG is an industry benchmark for projecting future vehicle values and depreciation data. Award winners are determined through careful study of the competition in each segment, historical vehicle performance and industry trends. Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing and marketing strategies represent key factors that impact ALG’s residual value forecasts.
