Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problems since day 1 picking it up We recently leased a 2019 Discovery and encountered problems immediately. We first noticed that when it was raining outside water was dripping from the windshield above the rear view mirror. After returning it to be repaired we were told it was fixed. A week later it was raining heavily and this time water was pouring all over the place. Dripping from the overhead compartment. Dripping heavily from the defroster vents on the windshield sides and running down the interior of the windshield. Of course it had to again go back this time for a replacement windshield. Additionally this time it damaged the electrical in the compartment over the windshield causing the interior lights to no longer work. We also noticed at the same time that there was a terrible rumbling noise coming from the back end. Turns out the compressor for the suspension was defective and needed replacement. We now have the vehicle back after 3 visits in less that a month. However - the lights inside the vehicle are still not working as that whole compartment needs to be fully replaced to repair it from the water damages. This is a part that requires shipping from the UK and will require another service arrangement and loaner vehicle etc when it arrives. A video is attached of the water dripping severely after “repairing it” the first time. In addition to the technical problems we are still sorting through there is some missing features we have always had in our Jeeps that is proving very difficult to accept. The vehicle does have a remote start via the phone app which requires adequate data signal to work. Unfortunately all this feature does is start the vehicle. It does not activate the heated seats/steering wheel or effectively warm the car up. Which is a critical feature living in Toronto with extreme cold temperatures. Additionally we have the Diesel model Discovery and this diesel engine takes exceptionally longer to warm up in comparison to the gas engine. Overall we lost use and enjoyment for the entire first month of the lease while it went back and forth to the dealership for servicing. Along with constantly going in and out of loaner vehicles and transferring our 2 child car seats back and forth each time. The main concern is that a leaking windshield is completely preventable if the car goes through quality control in the factory via water sprays or whatever method. We like the vehicle and the design but ultimately we are very scared after going through a terrible start.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Dream Machine I am so happy with my new Landrover. My husband can’t wait for the weekends so he can get his hands on it. Such a fun ride. Only concern - we bought a trailer as well and the Landrover will tow it beautifully but we’re having a difficult time finding towing mirrors. Suggestions?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good - but experiencing tech glitches I love the car...but I’m currently experiencing tech glitches with apple carplay; the cameras and the main video display (turned off randomly mid drive and only turned back on when I pulled over (on the highway) and turned the car back off/on)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeds My High Expectations! Just finished a Calgary/Vancouver round trip - that’s 2,000 km and 22 hours behind the wheel. Incredibly comfortable, tons of power on demand and a miserly 7.8 litres per 100 km. I’ve got the Diesel engine and could not be happier

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A distinct type of luxury Smooth ride, the air suspension feels like clouds under the shoes Powerful v6 Diesel engine Comfort like no other Attention to details I would recommend more attention to noises and quirks coming from the plastic pieces of the central panel. My old LR4 was solid rock, not as much this New Discovery.... Luxury with a hint of heritage - I love Land Rover Tata Motors, please let the Brits do the work! don’t mess with this icon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing do-it-all vehicle! 4/5 stars rather than 5 because of fuel economy. Every other aspect of the vehicle is a perfect blend of luxury, capability, convenience and utility.
