RUGBY WORLD CUP 2015
In 2015, the game’s elite players vied for rugby’s ultimate prize at the largest ever Rugby World Cup. But at Land Rover, we believe that the unswerving spirit of the grassroot players, clubs and fans is the heart and soul of real rugby. That’s why #WeDealInReal.
LAND ROVER BAR
The sport of sailing evolves constantly, challenging exceptional people to tackle ever-changing and extreme conditions with intelligence and courage. Land Rover continues its support of this thrilling sport and partners with Ben Ainslie Racing ahead of its America’s Cup bid.
Both serious competition and exciting spectacle, Extreme Sailing Series™ was the first foray back into sailing for Land Rover as Series Main Partner in 2013. An ideal match, as Mark Cameron, Global Experiential Director, comments, “We don’t make ‘normal’ cars any more than a high-performance catamaran is a ‘normal’ boat’.”
RED BULL EXTREME SAILING TEAM
Racing cutting-edge multihull boats in stunning locations around the world, the Red Bull Extreme Sailing Team is skippered by double Olympic gold medallist Roman Hagara. As Official Vehicle Partner, Land Rover provides multiple vehicles to transport the team and their equipment as they challenge for the Extreme Sailing Series™ title.

LAND ROVER SUPPORTS
Jaguar Land Rover is the presenting partner for the world’s largest international adaptive sporting event, the Invictus Games.
CAROLYNE DUFLEY, 32, YORKSHIRE
15-year Royal Logistics Corp veteran Carolyne had toured Iraq and Afghanistan before she suffered a spinal chord injury while practising judo. She credits the Invictus Games with giving her a focus and a stepping stone to overcoming the severe pain and loss of movement her injury has caused.
JONATHAN LE GALLOUDEC, 33, WESTBURY
Doctors told Lance Corporal Jonathan that he would never walk again after he was shot in the spine while serving in Basra in 2007. “Frenchie” proved them wrong, and his incredible determination saw him climb Everest in 2011. He says he’s looking forward to the competitiveness of the Invictus Games.
DAVE SCOTT, 52, LANGHOLM
David, a retired Major, was hit in the leg by shrapnel while serving in Bosnia in 1993. After three knee replacements and 21 operations, he opted for an above-knee amputation in 2009. “Scotty” says competing at Invictus will be like taking part in his own Commonwealth Games.
