DEFENDER DAKAR
After a stunning winning debut at the 2026 Dakar Rally, the Defender D7X-R announced itself as a true competition icon and it has continued to dominate this year’s World Rally Raid Championship.
Inspired by the debut victory, our engineers and designers set out to build a road vehicle evolution that could deliver the same prowess within road-legal constraints.
The result: Defender Dakar, which made its public debut as a Design Preview Model at The Quail by The Peninsula, A Motorsports Gathering, in California as part of Monterey Vehicle Week 2026.
Further technical details and specifications will be revealed at the 2027 Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.
