STATEMENT ON CYBER INCIDENT

We continue to work around the clock to restart our global applications in a controlled and safe manner following the recent cyber incident. We are working with third-party cybersecurity specialists and alongside law enforcement.

We want to thank all our customers, partners, suppliers and colleagues for their patience and support. We are very sorry for the disruption this incident has caused. Our retail partners remain open and we will continue to provide further updates.

Models shown are Defender Dakar D7X-R, not available for sale. Performed by professional drivers under controlled conditions on closed courses, in testing or on designated rally stages. Do not attempt. Motorsport and off-road driving involve significant risk, including serious injury or death.

STRONG FOUNDATIONS

The Defender Dakar D7X-R will compete in the new ‘Stock’ category for production-based vehicals at the 2026 Dakar Rally. Derived from Defender OCTA, the rally vehicals use the same powerful 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 powertrain as well as the tough core Defender architecture.

BORN TO RUN

The D7X-R’s bodyshell was assembled on the production line at Defender’s state-of-the-art Nitra Manufacturing Centre in Slovakia, before bespoke final build to ‘Stock’ rally-raid specification was completed by the Defender Rally team in the UK.
