UPDATING YOUR SECURITY
To inquire whether your vehicle is eligible for a complimentary security software update, please have your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ready and contact your preferred Retailer.
The complimentary theft protection security update is available for vehicles purchased after 2018. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle is eligible*, contact your local Retailer. We’ll verify if your vehicle requires an update and schedule your appointment.
The update will take no more than an hour. Enjoy a coffee in the lounge or work from a private space while you wait.

MORE WAYS TO SECURE YOUR VEHICLE
SET ALARM AND LOCK VEHICLE
Press the lock bottom once to engage the alarm - press it twice for an audible confirmation. If your vehicle doesn’t lock due to key jammers, use the Remote app** or the emergency key to secure it.
ACTIVATE INCONTROL APP
With Land Rover InControl®, you can monitor your vehicle remotely, request help from anywhere, and track your vehicle in case of theft for fast recovery and added security.
SECURE YOUR KEYS
Our smart keys include Ultra-Wide Band technology which helps prevent 'relay attacks'. Help to stay protected by storing keys out of sight at least three metres away from the vehicle.
