UPDATING YOUR SECURITY
To book your complimentary security software update, please have your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ready to confirm eligibility.
The update will take no more than an hour. Enjoy a coffee in the lounge or work from a private space while you wait.

The complimentary theft protection security update is available for vehicles purchased after 2018. If you're unsure whether your vehicle is eligible*, contact your local Retailer. We'll verify if your vehicle requires an update and schedule your appointment.

MORE WAYS TO SECURE YOUR VEHICLE
SET YOUR ALARM
Double-press the lock button on the vehicle door or the smart key when locking your vehicle. You will hear a beep to let you know the alarm has been armed.
SECURE YOUR KEYS
Our smart keys include Ultra-Wide Band technology which helps prevent 'relay attacks'. Help to stay protected by storing keys out of sight at least three metres away from the vehicle.
CHECK YOUR VEHICLE IS LOCKED
Key jammers can prevent vehicles from locking via the smart key. If your vehicle won’t lock using the smart key, lock your vehicle via the Remote app** or by using the emergency key.

*Please note, security updates are currently applicable to vehicles purchased after 2018 but not applicable to all. This will be determined by your retailer when they contact you after you book or fill in the check eligibility form.
**InControl and Remote App features, options and their availability remain market dependent - check with your Retailer for local market availability and full terms. Certain features require an appropriate sim with a suitable data contract which will require further subscription after the initial term advised by your Retailer.
